Founded 2012 by Dorian Brown, starting with two instructors in an Andover basement and later moving to Lawrence. Now over 20 instructors with classes seven days a week, and the only pole studio anywhere on the North Shore or in the Merrimack Valley. Hybrid studio: pole and aerial share the schedule and aerial is priced separately. A complete beginner starts with Intro to Pole, which the studio says begins from scratch. Published pricing on their own site runs $33 for a single pole class up to $462 for a 20 pack, aerial from $38, and twerk and flexibility classes cheapest at $22. Unlimited membership is $220 a month with no commitment, or $165 a month pole only. Packs under 20 classes expire in six months. Cancellation is 12 hours for regular classes and 48 hours for privates, parties and workshops. Dress code matters on a first visit: short shorts and a tank top, because skin contact is what grips the pole, and no lotion, rings or bracelets for any pole or aerial class. The studio sits on the third floor of a Merrimack Street mill building, so the entry letter and suite number are worth having before you arrive. No intro discount is published anywhere on their own site, which was checked directly rather than assumed.
